Youth ministries at Lovely Lane UMC range from 6th Grade to 12th grade.

Sunday mornings at 9:00 am we have a class for Mid High and High School ages.  The lessons are hands-on learning, sometimes in the kitchen cooking and tasting, and sometimes behind the video camera giving a modern spin to an old, old story.

Wednesday nights we feature a meal for all youth, children, and parents at 5:30 pm and then offer Youth group for both Middle and High Schoolers at 6:00 pm.  We always have a game and a time to share prayers, usually with a program that inspires a lot of discussion!

Our youth groups participate in service projects and fundraisers, and every summer and during Spring Break we take mission and adventure trips.  We’ve been to Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, Louisiana, and Colorado so far!  (Download, print, sign and return to the church the Mission Trip/Travel Parental Consent Form if your child is planning to participate).

For Kennedy High School students, we also sponsor Lovely Lane Lunch every Tuesday at noon in our Fellowship Hall.  You don’t have to be a member of the church to attend.  If you are a freshman or sophomore, you will need to turn your parents’ written consent form in at the Kennedy HS office.  Everybody’s welcome!
