Enrichment groups have begun for Before and After School Daycare students (BASE) the 1stof November. We have 8 choices: Watercolor Wonders, Othello, Let’s Build It – Knex, Newt-tonians, Pierce Gym, Creative Cupcakes; Super
Sun-catchers; & “We Care for Animal Friends” – (creating blankets and toys for the Animal Shelter). We appreciate Pastor Paul giving his time for the popular Newt-tonians!
Thanksgiving Feast will be held for preschoolers on Nov. 21st and 2nd. All students donate an item to share and create our lunch.
Preschool is enjoying new additions to our playground. Our chimes and drums are now installed. They were purchased with money from reaching our Level 5 QRS (Quality Rating Scale).
October is a great month for preschool fieldtrips. Trinity Lane 4’s visited the pumpkin farm. Lovely Lane 4’s visited the apple orchard and the pumpkin farm. Lovely Lane 3’s visited a different pumpkin farm. The wonderful October weather that we’re having made them an even better experience. The ride on the school bus was possibly the biggest hit!
Trinity Lane evacuated for the flood. Salem United Methodist Church was very kind to us. They opened their doors and allowed our preschool to set up in the education area. Since Trinity United Methodist Church did not get any water, preschool was able to move back in after one week. Our Trinity Lane Site Director, Dawn DuPont, did an outstanding job organizing the move. All Trinity staff worked many extra hours so that we could keep the consistency for our preschool families.
