UMW Annual Meetings are a joyful celebration of the missions and ministries of United Methodist Women. Activities for the day will include music, silent auction baskets, quilts and teen blankets, breakout sessions, love offerings, and officer training. Donation of baskets for auction is appreciated; the value of baskets should not exceed $25 and all auction proceeds will go to Missions.
There will be a collection of nonperishable foods for the Vinton Food Pantry, and a collection of items from the Wish List for Bidwell Riverside Child Development Center: ART SUPPLIES; markers-washable, non-toxic; plain white paper; construction paper; Elmer’s glue sticks; playdough; sidewalk chalk; yarn/ribbon; bubbles; and watercolor paints. For more information about joining us as we go to Vinton to attend this annual meeting, call Cheryl Murphy (377-6205).
