On Sunday, Sept. 14th, our Sunday School begins a new and exciting year. Jody’s letter reminds me just how important our teaching can be —not only for our kids, but for our adults as well. On the one hand, in an age when so many of our youth believe that their futures are not very bright, we must teach them that they are not alone, that they “can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” And on the other hand, our Adult Sunday School classes really need to be full, because if we adults aren’t still growing and learning in Christ, how can we teach our children? And what kind of lesson do they learn by our example? Prayerfully consider getting involved in an adult class this year—we need you! Our kids need you, and God needs you!
