Our Lovely Lane location is currently getting extra ready for the new school year (under renovation); therefore we are at our temporary location inside St. Ludmila’s Catholic Church, located at 211 21st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
While things may be different we are doing our best to provide a fun and engaging summer for your kids. We know many are hesitant and unsure what the future holds. Because of this we now offer monthly registration for our Summer Child Care program. We still have the same friendly staff and fun activities and are happy to see our returning and new families!

Registration forms can be downloaded below! Paper forms are also available at our current Child Care location (St. Ludmila’s Catholic Church). Please bring in a completed registration form, summer contract, summer monthly calendar and a $60 registration fee. (If you have registered for BASE starting in the fall of 2020 and already paid a registration fee you will not need to pay a second one.) Full Time summer daycare (4-5 days a week) $200/week.*
Part Time summer daycare (3 days a week) $158/week.*
Drop-In summer daycare $60/day.

Below you will find the DHS paperwork that is required of all students in our programs. They do need to be filled out yearly. When you fill them out please date them June 1st or after. The paperwork will then be good for the entire school year too!
